Machine Shop Manager

Location: Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico

Our client, a global manufacturer of high-quality electronic components , is seeking an experienced Machine Shop Manager to lead CNC machining operations at its Ciudad Juárez facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong technical background in CNC machining, programming, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise machine shop operations, including supervisors, CNC programmers, technicians, machinists, and operators.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Oversee CNC machining operations involving 3-axis and 5-axis Haas and Hurco machines .
• Support CNC programming activities and provide technical guidance when needed.
• Ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with quality standards.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to solve technical and manufacturing challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and equipment efficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management experience in a CNC Machine Shop or precision machining environment.
• Hands-on experience with Haas and Hurco CNC machines (3-axis & 5-axis) .
• Experience with Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) .
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming and CAM software .
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T .
• Proven leadership experience managing supervisors, programmers, technicians, and machine operators.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Advanced English required.
