CNC Machinist and programmer

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Use GD&T principles to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished products using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating CNC machines
• Knowledge of CAM programming and tooling selection
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
