CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to job orders and engineering drawings
• Interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and work instructions accurately
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters
• Perform first article inspection and in-process quality checks to ensure dimensional accuracy
• Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and efficiency
• Conduct basic CNC program loading and minor edits when required (G-code knowledge preferred)
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine preventive maintenance
• Record production output, scrap, and quality inspection results
• Collaborate with production, QA, and engineering teams to resolve machining issues
• Follow safety procedures and 6S workplace standards

Requirements

• Minimum SPM / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred)
• At least 1–3 years experience in CNC machining (milling and/or turning)
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
• Experience in precision manufacturing (sheet metal / machining / stamping industry is an advantage)
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens / Haas controller preferred)
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
