CNC Machinist

Job Overview
We are searching for an immediate hire to fill a CNC Machinist position. The ideal candidate will have a few year's experience machining with Fanuc based controls, the knowledge of G code, and the knowledge of different cutting tools. Duties

• Set up and operate CNC machines such as HAAS mills and or Fanuc operated lathes to produce complex parts with tight tolerances.
• Develop and modify CNC programs.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing.
• Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, tooling changes, and adjustments to maintain optimal performance and quality standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, as needed for assembly or auxiliary tasks.
• Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance safety protocols within the machining environment.
• Maintain detailed records of production runs, inspection reports, and machine logs for quality assurance purposes.

Experience

• Proven experience operating CNC machines with HAAS and or Fanuc controls
• Blueprint reading, and mechanical drawings to interpret complex specifications accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of tooling selection, setup procedures, and basic math skills for measurement calculations.
• Experience working with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, thread gauges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $29.00 per hour
