Job Summary:

Utilizing CNC Equipment, Machinists will be required to set tooling, set work holding, and program on the machine control to manufacture precision products to quality specifications defined by blueprints in an efficient manner. CNC Equipment utilized includes but is not limited to: 5-Axis Milling machines, Vertical Milling Machines, Horizontal Milling Machines, Lathes, Waterjet Machines, and Horizontal Saws.

Essential Functions:

• Read and apply shop orders, drawings, and instructions to produce parts on CNC equipment.
• Utilize measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications and maintain appropriate record keeping and electronic documentation.
• Perform basic equipment upkeep while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Operate as a team and participate in department improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned

• CNC equipment operation with 2+ years of setup and programming knowledge and ability. Must be able read and interpret product drawings, choose the correct tooling and work holding, and verify conformance with proper inspection equipment.
• CNC programming on Mazak machines and advanced comprehension of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred but not required.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and varying temperatures.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
• Hands-on role requiring standing, manual dexterity, and occasional lifting of materials or fixturing.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repetitively.
• Strong emphasis on quality, safety, and craftsmanship.
• This position may involve exposure to, but is not limited to, the following materials: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Alloy Steel, Cast Iron, Aluminum, Bronze, Brass, & Copper
