Gilman Precision USA is looking for a CNC Machinist to join our team!

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
• Set tool offsets and make machine adjustments as needed
• Load programs, install tooling, and set up workholding
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment
• Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure quality specifications are met
• Monitor tooling and make adjustments or tool changes when necessary
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues
• Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work with engineering and quality teams to improve processes and solve problems

What We're Looking For

• CNC machining experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement
• Experience with CNC machine setup and tooling
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable, motivated, and quality-focused
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with CNC mills, CNC lathes, Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Mastercam, or multi-axis machining is a plus.
