CNC Machinist

Overview
We are seeking skilled 1st and 2nd Shift CNC Machinists and Program Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have ability to operate and maintain CNC lathes, Mills or Swiss machines. This role requires precision and attention to detail. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, Mills and Swiss machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations required.
• Utilize GD&T principles in the manufacturing process.
• Conduct regular inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, optical comparators and vision systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to lean manufacturing principles.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance on CNC machinery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints accurately.
• Shop math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
