What they need
One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a motivated and skilled CNC Machinist to join their team located near Weyauwega, WI. Pay Rate: $24-$25/hr
Shift: 2nd shift
Responsibilities
- Work on 3 & 5-axis CNC machines using 3D models and CAM software such as PowerMill or Mastercam.
- Set up CNC machines with the proper tools, fixtures, and settings.
- Make tooling components using CNC machines, lathes, drill presses, saws, and other shop equipment.
- Move materials using overhead hoists and forklifts.
- Suggest ways to prevent machine problems and improve machine performance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in machining, CNC toolpathing, or foundry pattern work.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Experience with CNC machine setup and material fixturing.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
