CNC Machinist

Wilson Tool International provides the most comprehensive line of tooling systems and accessories for the Punching and Bending markets. At our European head office located in South Marston, Swindon, we are currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join our Hardstock team.

The objective of this role is to ensure the efficient running of CNC machines by providing a high standard of skill, quality, and output.

The role will involve working 39 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm (week 1) and then 2pm-10pm (week 2), receiving a 25% shift allowance.

Salary Range: £27,500.00 - £29,500.00 per annum plus shift allowance.

Key accountabilities

· You will be responsible for the operation of CNC finishing machines including Grinder, Lathe & Mills.

· Maintain a high level of quality control using a range of measuring equipment (100% inspection).

· Work to meet customer service deadlines.

· Keep working areas in line with Company 5S procedures.

Person Specification

· Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a production environment.

· Experience of operating CNC machines.

· Experience of working a shift pattern.

· Experience of using engineering inspection techniques.

· High accuracy and attention to detail

· Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
