Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with Gibbscam experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in operating CNC machines. This role involves interpreting blueprints, setting up machinery, and ensuring the production of high-quality components. The CNC Machinist will play a critical role in maintaining efficiency and precision in our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Program jobs in Gibbscam.
• Set up tooling and fixtures for machining operations, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
• Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively throughout the production process.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products using bore gauges and other measuring tools to verify adherence to quality standards. Assemble components as needed, following detailed assembly instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation for accurate machining processes.
• Experience with CNC operation, including setup and programming (CAM programming preferred).
• Ability to operate forklifts safely for material handling (certification preferred).
• Skilled in using various power tools and tooling required for machining tasks.
