CNC Machinist/Programmer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, ensuring precision and quality in the production of components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The CNC Machinist will work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties

• Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine machining requirements.
• Set up and adjust CNC machines, including tool selection and calibration.
• Utilize measuring instruments such as bore gauges and calipers to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
• Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) practices to maintain quality control.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and resolve any machining issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including milling machines and lathes.
• Familiarity with CAD software for blueprint reading and design interpretation.
• Experience with power tools and hand tools used in machining processes.
• Knowledge of Fanuc controls is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Previous experience with forklift operation is beneficial but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
