CNC Machinist/Programmer

HAAS CNC Programmer Machinist Wanted!

We are I.F. Metalworks - The 2024 Macomb County Manufacturer of the Year! Our company is a growing custom manufacturer specializing in high-quality fabricated metal products for markets from architectural/structural to military/aerospace. This is a first shift, full-time position. We are seeking a highly motivated, and experienced person that takes pride in quality workmanship, and seeks the daily challenge of working on custom projects for customers who expect the best!

Responsibilities and Duties

MUST have Experience & Knowledge of the HAAS machines (Preferrably the HAAS VF9)

Ability to program and nest parts in MasterCAM from either CAD or PDF data.

Ability to perform Haas machine set ups including programming, loading and unloading of materials.

Recording and filling out all paperwork accurately in accordance with internal procedures.

Perform all periodic maintenance on equipment.

Produce quality parts and verify them for accuracy.

Inspect parts in process and understand if any changes are required.

Maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Capable of lifting 50 lbs. without assistance.

Flexibility of working extra hours if needed.
