About the Role

We are looking for a CNC Machine Programmer to join our manufacturing team in Jamnagar. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CNC machining and be comfortable working with engineering drawings, 3D models and CNC programming.

This position is suitable for someone who has good practical knowledge of CNC machines and wants to take responsibility for programming, setting and improving machining processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify CNC programs as per component drawings and machining requirements.
• Understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and other technical requirements.
• Use 3D modelling/CAD software to understand components and machining requirements.
• Program and operate different types of CNC machines as required.
• Understand and work with different CNC controllers.
• Currently, our CNC machines are equipped with GSK controllers, so knowledge of GSK controls will be an advantage.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds and machining parameters.
• Carry out program corrections and improvements based on machining results.
• Work closely with the production and quality teams to ensure components are manufactured as per specifications.
• Identify and resolve basic machining and programming-related issues.
• Maintain proper production and machining standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer.
• Good understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of 3D modelling/CAD is required.
• Knowledge of different CNC controllers and their programming.
• Practical knowledge of tooling, cutting parameters and machining operations.
• Ability to independently understand a component drawing and develop a suitable machining program.
• Candidates with experience in brass, aluminium, steel or other non-ferrous metal machining will be preferred.
