CNC Maintenance Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC and VMC machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults in spindles, ball screws, bearings, guideways, and tool changers.
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and coolant systems.
• Diagnose machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
• Perform machine alignment, levelling, and mechanical adjustments.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain breakdown reports, preventive maintenance records, and spare-parts inventory.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to ensure smooth machine operations.
• Implement TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and workplace safety practices.

Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in CNC & VMC machine maintenance.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of CNC and VMC machines.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of TPM, Kaizen, and root cause analysis.
