CNC Mill & Lathe Operator / Programmer – HAAS

We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator and Programmer to set up, program and operate HAAS CNC milling machines and lathes. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality components and working safely.

Key responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
• Select tooling and set work offsets, tool offsets, speeds and feeds.
• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet required dimensions and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and improve machining processes.
• Perform routine machine checks and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience working with CNC equipment is essential.
• Experience in CNC programming, machine setup and operation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Previous HAAS machine and control experience is beneficial.
• Relevant trade qualifications, machining certifications or CNC training are beneficial.
