CNC Mill Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will produce high-quality precision parts while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.Essential Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes (2-axis, multi-axis, and live tooling preferred)
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices
• Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
• Make necessary offsets and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
• Monitor machine performance and perform basic troubleshooting
• Perform routine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
• Document production data and report any quality or equipment issues
• Collaborate with programmers, supervisors, and quality personnel
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical trade school or apprenticeship preferred
• 3+ years of experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to read blueprints and GD&T
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools
• Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or similar CNC controls
• Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and material properties
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision machining is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Work Environment

• Full-time, on-site position in Victorville, CA
• Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to noise, coolants, and metal chips
• Must be able to work required shifts, including possible overtime

Compensation
