CNC Mill Operator

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC 3/4 axis Mill machine operator and play a vital role in producing high-precision components for the defense and aerospace industries. As a key contributor to our manufacturing facility, you will fully operate, set up, and maintain our Haas Mills- setting up and running lathes is a plus. Duties

• Operate 3/4 axis Haas mills, ensuring precise execution of complex machining programs
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications to produce accurate parts
• Set up tooling, perform dry runs and be able to fully operate 3, 4 and 5 axis mills
• Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to verify part dimensions and quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance on the machines, including keeping them clean and operating efficiently.
• Maintain detailed documentation of production activities, quality checks, and machine settings for traceability and continuous improvement

Skills

• Strong knowledge of operating CNC 3 and 4 axis machines preferred, lathe operating is a plus
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding GD&T for accurate manufacturing
• Familiarity with Haas controls for changing offsets and running programs
• Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine settings

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
