CNC Mill Programmer - 5-Axis (Mazak) - Houston, TX

An AS9100/ITAR-registered Houston shop with a solid oil & gas exotic-metals foundation, now growing its aerospace work (aluminum, 15-5 PH stainless) as a priority alongside it - with a potential SpaceX contract pending PO. Small enough that a strong programmer becomes a go-to person on the floor rather than one of many.

Key responsibilities & requirements:

• Review drawings and CAD models to plan machining strategy, work holding, and tooling for 5-axis milled parts
• Set up and program a 5-axis Mazak vertical machining center from raw stock through finished part
• CAM programming in GibbsCAM, Fusion 360, or Mastercam; controller-side editing on Fanuc / Matrix control
• Machine across a materials range from oil & gas exotic alloys to aerospace-grade aluminum and 15-5 PH stainless, holding tight tolerances
• Support first-article inspection and documentation in an AS9100/ITAR shop
• 3+ years CNC milling/programming experience; 5-axis experience strongly preferred
