CNC Miller

Job Responsibilities:

• Plans machining by studying job orders, drawings, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, location of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD &T)
• Operating, setting and programming CNC machine in accordance to customer specifications and company standards.
• Deliver production of goods, to the Right levels of productivity, to the Right Quality standards, at the Right Time to support the Production schedule.
• Store previously used programs for existing customers
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements following manufacture's instruction
• To follow instructions as per company procedure, practices and policies
• Any other ad hoc duties as required
• To ensure all work meets the requirements of HS systems and procedures

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in programming with Fanuc control systems
• Process improvement, Verbal communication, Functional and Technical Skills, Controls and Instrumentation, Tooling Coordination, Inventory Control
• Attention to Details, Judgment
• Overhead Crane Training
• Manual Handling Training
• With minimum 5 year's experience working in the same/similar environment
• Good written and oral skills
• Knowledge in computer systems; an all around appreciation and understanding of basic Information Technology
• Experience within the metal cutting or manufacturing industry
• Willingness to render overtime including Sunday
• Good team work skills
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
