What they need
CNC Milling CAM Programmer (Mastercam/CamWorks)
Location: ITAL Tech, Groveland, MA
How your day starts: You open a new customer print, translate the callouts into a robust toolpath in CamWorks or Mastercam, verify, post, and head to the floor to prove out the program on a VMC. As the first piece comes off, you perform in-process checks, partner with the milling/turning lead on first-article verification, and make smart refinements so production runs smoothly.
What you’ll do
- Program and machine parts precisely to customer prints and specifications, implement upgrades, and validate results.
- Partner in the manufacturing of components requiring tight tolerances and strict customer requirements.
- Identify, segregate, and report nonconforming material and foreign object debris (FOD); document and control NCM per procedure.
- Inspect work against print callouts and promptly report damaged/nonconforming parts to team leaders/manager.
- Complete all documentation and job travelers accurately.
- Ensure full compliance with AS9100D/ISO9001 and customer-specific requirements.
- Maintain a safe workplace and report any safety issues discovered during normal activities.
If serving in a lead capacity
- Oversee and schedule the turning or milling area, troubleshoot issues, program as needed, and work with the milling or turning lead on first-piece inspections.
Tools, machines, and tech
- CAM: CamWorks and Mastercam
- CNC Mills: 3–4 axis VMC and 5+ axis VMC
- General: CNC, CAM Software

- Clear communication, strong math skills, and collaborative teamwork within an ISO9001/AS9100 environment.
