CNC Milling Operator

Description

• Setting up and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work plans
• Determining milling strategy, machining sequence, and clamping methods
• Selecting and assembling appropriate cutting tools
• Programming the machine (Heidenhain control)
• Performing various milling operations (face milling, deep milling, slot milling, etc.)
• Deburring, tapping, and inspecting finished parts
• Using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and angle meters
• Performing daily and weekly maintenance on the machine
• Providing feedback to work preparation
• Complying with safety regulations and maintaining a clean workstation
• Checking the quality of produced parts
• Reporting deviations or malfunctions to the team leader

Your competences

• A2 diploma in mechanics or equivalent through experience
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques and materials (aluminium, steel, stainless steel, and plastics)
• Experience with conventional milling is a plus
• Familiarity with Heidenhain controls is an asset
• Technical insight and precision (ability to read technical drawings!)
• Knowledge of measuring instruments (caliper, tape measure, micrometer, etc.)
• A team player with a hands-on mentality
• Able to work independently
