Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled CNC Operations Coordinator & Programmer to join our dynamic team. This role is a hybrid position that combines project coordination with technical programming expertise. The ideal candidate will oversee the efficient workflow of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring high accuracy and fast turnaround times without direct operation of CNC machinery. You will be responsible for CNC and CAM programming, utilizing CAD and CAM software to facilitate engineering design and manufacturing processes. As part of a small but rapidly growing team, you will play a key role in coordinating tasks, optimizing production, and maintaining quality standards while enjoying a collaborative work environment.

Duties

• Coordinate the workflow of multiple CNC machining projects to ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Develop and refine CNC programs using CAM software to optimize machining processes.
• Create and modify CAM programs based on project specifications.
• Utilize CAD software for engineering design tasks, including CAD design and modifications as needed for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to plan project timelines and resource allocation.
• Ensure all programming adheres to quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Maintain documentation related to CNC programs, tooling setups, and project details for future reference.
• Stay updated on advancements in CNC machining, CAM software, and CAD design tools to enhance productivity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in CNC programming and CAM programming using industry-standard CAM software.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software with the ability to perform engineering design tasks (CAD design).
• Knowledge of CNC machining processes and best practices.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on efficient workflow management.
• Motivated self-starter capable of working independently within a small team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to fast-paced project demands.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
