CNC Operator - 2nd Shift

We are looking for the right individual to join our team as a CNC Operator on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30pm-10:30pm. If you have experience with Citizen Swiss-type machines, that would be a plus. This position is responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC machines in a safe and orderly manner while maximizing production output using efficient and effective methods. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000. Payment and eligibility are subject to company policy and outlined at the time of offer.

What will you do? On Any Given Day, Your Responsibilities Would Include

• Operating multiple machines simultaneously while proactively keeping all machines in the department running.
• Making adjustments to assure dimension, tolerances, quality and highest accuracy of parts.
• Performing inspection of your parts and your co-workers' parts utilizing measurement tools i.e. snap gage, digital calipers, micrometers, optical comparator and other measuring instruments.
• Performing minor editing of current programs.
• Following established procedures as well as quality and safety standards.
• Communicating delays and problems effectively and timely.

You are a great fit if you have the following:

• High school degree or GED
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivation
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong understanding of machining practices
• Good working knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, basic math and measuring instruments
• 1+ years of machining experience or a recent certificate in precision machining or related field
• Ability to work well within a team or independently and a demonstrated initiative to drive for results
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
