What they need

Where we need you

Under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager and Production Supervisors, complete basic operation of hand, power tools, and CNC machinery in addition to conducting general cleaning of a work area. Roechling is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our stable, growing team. Unlike traditional "greasy" machine shops, we offer a clean, coolant-free environment focusing on high-quality plastics and composites. While we utilize specialized CNC router equipment, we value general machining expertise. Whether your background is in mills, lathes, or routers, if you have a strong grasp of CNC fundamentals, our veteran operators will provide the specific training needed to master our equipment.

  • Setup & Operation: Independently set up and operate CNC router equipment according to production schedules.
  • Material Management: Load raw materials (plastics/composites) and monitor machining cycles to ensure optimal tool paths and finishes.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Perform basic G-code program edits and offset adjustments to maintain part integrity.
  • Quality Assurance: Use precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to inspect parts against blueprints and "Work in Process" (WIP) standards.
  • Finishing: Deburr parts and perform final quality checks to ensure a professional, burr-free finish.
  • Shop Stewardship: Maintain a safe, organized workspace and assist with general cleaning and tool maintenance.

How to convince us

  • Experience: 3–5 years of CNC machining experience (any equipment type: Mill, Lathe, or Router).
  • Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret technical prints, special instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Precision Measurement: Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and standard measuring tools.
  • Mathematical Proficiency: Strong shop math skills, including the ability to convert measurements between Metric and Standard systems.
  • Technical Mindset: A solid understanding of CNC setup logic, offsets, and program flow.
  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

In the Industrial division, you will support customers with exceptional know-how in the plastics segment. Our plastics are used in almost every industry worldwide. And yet: Every industry has its own requirements for materials.

The Röchling Group has been shaping industry. Worldwide. For more than 200 years. We transform the lives of people every day with our customized plastics: they reduce the weight of cars, make medication packaging more secure and improve industrial applications. Our workforce of 11.681 people is located in the places where our customers are – in 83 locations in 25 countries.
