CNC Operator

Due to ongoing growth and increasing production requirements an opportunity is available for a CNC Operator to join our production team. This position will play an important role in supporting our expanding manufacturing operations, working with our fibre laser cutting machines and Amada Pega CNC punch press to produce components for our range of agricultural products. The successful applicant will become an integral part of the production team, with the opportunity to develop their CNC skills, take on greater responsibility and grow with the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Programming and operating fibre laser cutting machines

• Operating Amada Pega punch press

• Loading, unloading and handling materials

• Setting up and monitoring jobs

• Basic troubleshooting and problem solving

• Performing routine maintenance on machinery

• General housekeeping and maintaining an organised work area

• Working from drawings, job sheets and production requirement schedules

• Assisting with general duties as required

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and punctual with a strong attendance record

• Trustworthy and able to take responsibility for their work • Comfortable working independently without constant supervision

• A good problem solver who can think through issues and find practical solutions

• Able to demonstrate initiative and some leadership

• A team player who can communicate effectively with the rest of the team Previous experience is advantageous, but not essential. We are willing to train the right person on our equipment.

Must have: Forklift ticket, Basic computer literacy.
