CNC Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator with cabinetry or woodworking experience to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machinery used in the fabrication of custom cabinetry and wood components. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, understands production workflows, and is committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (routers, saws, or machining centers) for cabinetry production
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate machining
• Load materials and ensure proper alignment and calibration before cutting
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to supervisors
• Work closely with design, engineering, and production teams to meet deadlines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements / Experience

• Required: Prior CNC operating experience, preferably in cabinetry, millwork, or woodworking
• Familiarity with CNC programming software (Mozaik) preferred
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and cut lists
• Strong understanding of measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of G-code and machine setup is a plus
• Ability to lift and handle wood materials and sheets safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in custom cabinetry or millwork manufacturing
• Knowledge of nested-based manufacturing processes
• Forklift experience (or willingness to be certified)
• Understanding of material optimization and waste reduction

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
