What they need
A well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Germiston is looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join their team.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up CNC machinery.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Select tooling and make basic machine adjustments.
- Measure and inspect components using verniers, micrometers and gauges.
- Ensure components meet required specifications and tolerances.
- Perform basic fault-finding and report machine issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Meet production and quality targets.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- 2–3+ years' CNC operating experience.
- Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Good knowledge of measurements and tolerances.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- CNC setup/programming experience will be advantageous.
- Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate will be advantageous.
Pay: R18 000,00 - R22 000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
