CNC Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely while meeting strict quality standards. Duties

• Operate CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other automated equipment to produce parts according to technical specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to ensure accurate machining processes.
• Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust programs as needed for optimal performance.
• Set up machinery including calibration, tooling selection, and machine adjustments to meet production requirements.
• Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances aligned with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on industrial equipment like press brake machines, stamping presses, or flexo presses to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards in production environments.
• Collaborate with team members on fabrication tasks, assembly line processes, materials handling, and packaging operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as Fanuc or other control systems.
• Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications accurately.
• Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks for part design review and modifications.
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Understanding of shop math principles including basic calculations for dimensions, tolerances, and material properties.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting industrial equipment like stamping presses or flexo presses.
• Ability to operate forklift trucks and handle materials safely within the production environment.
• Knowledge of safety standards relevant to manufacturing facilities and machine operation protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong focus on quality control and dimensional accuracy.
• Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred; familiarity with assembly line processes is a plus.

Pay: $25.06 - $30.18 per hour

Work Location: In person
