CNC Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently as per production requirements.
• Load and unload materials onto the CNC machine.
• Set up tools, fixtures and materials before starting production.
• Read and understand basic technical drawings, measurements and job specifications.
• Run CNC programs and monitor machine operations.
• Check dimensions and quality of finished components.
• Identify machining defects and make necessary corrections.
• Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Ensure correct tools, materials and programs are used for each job.
• Maintain production quality and minimize material wastage.
• Follow production schedules and complete assigned jobs within the required time.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Report machine breakdowns, tool damage or production issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain proper housekeeping around the machine and work area.
• Coordinate with production, design and fabrication teams when required.
• Perform other production-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of CNC machine operation.
• Basic understanding of CNC programs and machine settings.
• Ability to read measurements and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of cutting tools and machine operations.
• Good attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to identify basic machine or production problems.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a production environment.

Qualification & Experience

• ITI / Diploma in CNC, Mechanical, Production or related field preferred.
• Experience operating CNC machines is preferred.
• Freshers with relevant technical training may also be considered.
• Experience in modular furniture, woodworking CNC, manufacturing or fabrication will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
