CNC Operator

Job Overview

Temporary postition - 3 months minimum.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented lates/nights CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team to increase our production capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 4-axis CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Your expertise will ensure precision and efficiency in our production processes, contributing directly to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Duties

• Set up CNC machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and programming parameters based on technical drawings and specifications
• Operate CNC equipment to produce parts with precision, adhering to quality standards and production schedules
• Perform routine inspections of machined parts using hand tools and measurement devices to ensure accuracy
• Adjust machine settings as needed for optimal performance and troubleshoot issues during operation
• Maintain detailed records of production runs, machine maintenance, and quality checks
• Use power tools and hand tools for assembly, tooling adjustments, or minor repairs on equipment

Experience

• Proven experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings
• Basic math skills for measurements, tolerances, and calculations related to machining processes
• Experience within fenestration industry desirable (aluminium or uPVC machining would be considered)
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and various tooling equipment safely and effectively
