Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in CNC programming, machine setup, and quality control will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment in a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers, ensuring optimal performance and precision.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to accurately produce parts according to specifications.
- Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust parameters for different production runs.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot industrial equipment issues, and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of hand tools, tooling, and materials handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, packaging finished products, and maintaining a clean work area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or stamping presses within a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (Fanuc preferred), CAD (Computer-Aided Design), and CAM programming tools.
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret complex technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment troubleshooting and mechanical blueprint interpretation.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and shop math skills.
- Experience with safety standards in manufacturing environments and the use of hand tools and tooling for fabrication.
- Basic forklift operation skills are a plus; willingness to learn materials handling if necessary.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control and dimensional accuracy.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with factory experience in manufacturing or machining environments.
Join our team as a CNC Operator where your technical skills will drive the production of high-quality components! We value safety, precision, teamwork, and continuous learning—empowering you to grow your career in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
