CNC OPERATOR – BESPOKE FURNITURE MANUFACTURING

InPlace – Ashbourne, Co. Meath

InPlace is a luxury bespoke furniture company specialising in the design and manufacture of custom-made kitchens, wardrobes, media units and other high-end furniture.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable CNC Operator to join our workshop team in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CNC experience who wants to work on high-quality, one-off and bespoke furniture projects.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating our CNC machinery and producing accurate components for bespoke kitchens and furniture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating and setting up CNC machinery
• Cutting and machining MDF, MFC, plywood, veneered boards and other sheet materials
• Loading and unloading sheets safely and efficiently
• Checking drawings and CNC programs before production
• Producing components accurately to specification
• Ensuring correct tooling, cutting speeds and machine settings
• Carrying out quality checks on finished components
• Maintaining a clean and organised CNC work area
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and reporting any issues
• Working closely with the workshop manager, cabinet makers and production team
• Additional work such as operating edge bander and panel saw will also be required on occasional basis.
• Following company health & safety procedures

Experience & SkillsEssential:

• Previous experience operating a CNC machine in kitchen industry is a big plus
• Good understanding of CNC machining and production processes
• Ability to read technical drawings and measurements
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of workshop health & safety
• Reliable, organised and punctualDesirable:
• Experience in kitchen, cabinet or furniture manufacturing
• Experience working with MDF, MFC, plywood and veneered boards
• Experience with CNC routers used for sheet-material processing
• Experience with CNC nesting and/or cabinet manufacturing software
• Knowledge of CNC tooling and cutters
• Experience with drilling, routing and machining cabinet components

Pay: €38,000.00-€42,000.00 per year
