CNC Operator

The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator role is responsible for developing and optimising machining processes for aluminium die-cast components within a manufacturing environment in Pathum Thani. The position covers CNC programming, tool selection, fixture and jig design, process validation, quality verification, and continuous improvement from prototyping through to mass production. This is an onsite role with alternate Saturday working after the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret product drawings for aluminium die-cast parts to determine appropriate machining methods and processes
• Create, modify, and optimise machining programmes for CNC lathes and compact machining centres
• Select suitable cutting tools, including drills, end mills, reamers, taps, and other machining tools, according to product specifications
• Design machining fixtures and jigs to support production efficiency, dimensional accuracy, and process stability
• Optimise machining conditions and drive continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and quality
• Support machining process setup and validation from the prototype stage through to mass production
• Verify machining quality and dimensional accuracy, investigate processing issues, and implement corrective actions
• Perform other tasks assigned by the manager

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical machining, manufacturing operations, or a related function
• Hands-on experience with CNC programming
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications
• Knowledge of cutting-tool selection and fixture and jig design
• Familiarity with Mazak machines would be an advantage
• Experience in process improvement and cycle-time reduction would be an advantage
• Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), prototyping, and mass production would be an advantage
• Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure would be an advantage
