We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machine operation, technical drawing interpretation, and measurement will ensure efficient production processes and high-quality output. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment in a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers to produce parts according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents accurately to ensure precise fabrication.
- Program CNC equipment using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust parameters for optimal performance.
- Conduct dimensional measurements using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify part accuracy and adherence to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot industrial equipment issues, and ensure safety standards are consistently followed.
- Handle materials safely using appropriate materials handling techniques and operate shop tools including hand tools and tooling equipment.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, packaging finished products, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or stamping presses within a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, and interpreting mechanical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to read shop math, use precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers, and apply GD&T principles accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes including press brake machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, and assembly techniques.
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus for understanding design specifications.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety standards in production environments and quality control procedures.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling, packaging, and factory operations is advantageous.
Join our team as a CNC Operator if you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision meets innovation! We value your skills in machining technology and your dedication to producing top-quality components that drive our success forward.
