Job Description:

Superior Kitchens & Joinery is seeking a skilled CNC Operator / Edgebander to join our manufacturing team. We’re a busy joinery business doing everything from high-end custom kitchens through to multi-apartment projects, and we’re after someone who takes real pride in their work to run our CNC and edgebander.

Key responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Holz-Her CNC and edgebander machinery across a mix of custom and volume jobs

• Run production jobs accurately from drawings, cut lists and production information

• Inspect finished components to ensure quality, accuracy and finish standards

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area

• Communicate any issues with materials, machinery or production requirements

• Work closely with the wider factory team to keep projects on track

About You:

• 3+ years’ experience operating CNC and edgebander machinery within the joinery or cabinetry industry

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and cut lists accurately

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality output

• Understanding of cabinetry materials and safe handling practices

• Positive team attitude and willingness to contribute across the workshop

• Reliable, organised and able to work independently

• Eligible to work in NZ

• Relevant CNC, cabinetmaking, joinery or manufacturing qualifications/certificates are advantageous
