CNC Operator – Full Training Provided

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines used for cutting, shaping, and finishing various materials such as Granite, Marble, Quartz, Porcelan, etc.
• Assist with the inspection of finished parts for quality and adherence to specifications using hand tools and measurement devices
• Support the preparation of tooling, fixtures, and workpieces based on technical drawings and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files
• Follow safety protocols diligently while working with power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery
• Participate in training sessions covering Polishing, Cutting, milling and other machining techniques to expand your skill set
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and machinery to ensure optimal operation
• Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks involving plastics injection molding components and other mechanical parts

Experience

No prior experience in CNC machining is required—full training will be provided! However, candidates should possess or be willing to develop the following skills:

• Mechanical knowledge or interest in how machines work
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in machining processes
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and tooling setup is a plus but not mandatory
• Understanding of CAD software like SolidWorks or similar programs is advantageous but can be learned on the job
• Experience with plastics injection molding or assembly work is beneficial but not essential
• Willingness to learn welding techniques and grinding or milling operations as part of ongoing training

Pay: £12.71-£21.02 per hour
