CNC Operator – Glass Processing

About the role

The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring CNC machinery used to process glass products. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, accuracy and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery to process glass products
• Set up and prepare the CNC machine for production
• Load and unload glass safely and correctly
• Follow production drawings, specifications and job requirements
• Monitor machine operation and production quality
• Measure and inspect finished products for accuracy
• Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
• Identify and report machine faults or production issues
• Ensure materials are handled and stored safely
• Maintain a clean and organised work area

About you

• Previous CNC operating experience required
• Experience in glass processing or manufacturing highly regarded
• Ability to read and follow drawings and job specifications
• Good understanding of measurements and attention to detail
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to identify and report machinery issues
• Physically fit and capable of handling glass safely
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
