An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC operator to join our team on a permanent basis.

Job summary

The CNC operator will be responsible for programming, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, to assist in the production of bespoke furniture and joinery items

The successful CNC operator will:

• Ideally have previous experience in bench joinery
• Read drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
• Measures and marks dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining as necessary
• Process bespoke joinery components to precise specifications and quality standards.
• Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:00 with the factory open from 6.00am to 6.00pm (overtime at time and a half after 42 hours).
