When you apply to join the Werk-Brau team, we review every application and reach out quickly to candidates who might be a good fit. CNC Position/Mastercam

Description:

• Mastercam Programming: Create and refine complex 2D and 3D toolpaths using Mastercam for both milling and turning operations.
• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and "prove out" new programs on the machine to ensure accuracy, minimize tool wear and machine efficiency.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times and improve tool life through better programming strategies or tool selection.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze technical drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to determine the best machining sequence.
• Tooling & Fixturing: Research and test work holding solutions as needed for day-to-day machining.
• Work with tooling suppliers to ensure best possible quality and tooling cost.
• Training: Once programming and tooling are established, train operators to execute programs with the proper feeds and speeds set up to maximize tool life and minimize cycle times.
• Follow Up: Respond to “HELP DESK” tickets as they come in.
