CNC Press Brake Operator

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to blueprints and work instructions
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results
• Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions
• Knowledge of various metal fabrication techniques, including stamping press, lathe, weld, plasma cutting, and assembly
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure accuracy of finished parts
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
• Knowledge of tooling setup and maintenance for press brake machines
