$38.31 -$44.78 per hour + super | 5am-1pm | Temp-to-perm opportunity

An established Gold Coast manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator for a long-term day-shift opportunity.
Working within a clean, precision-focused manufacturing environment, you will operate an Amada press brake producing stainless steel and aluminium components. This is high-mix, low-volume work, offering plenty of variety rather than repetitive production.
For the right person, this position offers a genuine pathway to permanent employment.

• Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 1:00 pm

Your responsibilities

• Set up and operate an Amada EHB-1303 press brake
• Read and interpret engineering drawings independently
• Produce components to tolerances of approximately ±0.5-1 mm
• Work with stainless steel and aluminium sheet
• Select tooling and make adjustments when required
• Complete machine setups and changeovers
• Perform basic programming at the machine
• Check finished components for accuracy and quality
• Undertake basic troubleshooting and escalate technical issues when required

What you'll need

• Previous CNC press brake operating experience
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Experience completing setups and tooling changeovers
• Good understanding of bend sequences and tooling selection
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Confidence working to tight tolerances
• Ability to troubleshoot basic machine and production issues
• Reliable transport and availability to start at 5:00 am

Experience with Amada machinery or VPSS 4i software will be highly regarded, although candidates with strong experience operating similar CNC press brakes are encouraged to apply.
