About the Role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Press Brake Setter / Operator to join our sheet metal manufacturing team in Leicester.

The successful candidate will be confident setting and operating CNC press brakes, working from engineering drawings and producing accurate folded components.

Experience with Trumpf press brakes would be ideal, although we are happy to consider candidates with experience on other CNC press brake machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC press brake machines.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Selecting appropriate tooling and setting bend sequences.
• Producing accurate sheet metal components to specification.
• Checking dimensions, angles and finished component quality.
• Working with a range of materials and thicknesses.
• Maintaining productivity while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience setting and operating CNC press brakes.
• Good understanding of sheet metal bending and tooling.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Confident working independently with minimal supervision.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Trumpf experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience with Amada or other CNC press brakes also welcomed.
