CNC Programmer & Operator

Independently prepare, develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for CNC Turning machines using G-code and M-code. Set up and operate CNC Turning machines equipped with Fanuc and Siemens controllers. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and process sheets. Prepare CNC programs for facing, turning, boring, drilling, threading, grooving, taper turning, and parting operations. Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, tool holders, fixtures, and machining parameters. Perform complete machine setup, including chuck setting, job clamping, tool setting, and work offset setting. Set and adjust tool geometry offsets and wear offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy. Conduct program verification, dry runs, and first-off machining trials before production. Independently execute new CNC programs and modify existing programs as required. Optimize machining cycle times, cutting parameters, and tool life without compromising component quality. Operate CNC machines and monitor machining operations to achieve production targets. Perform first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks to ensure compliance with drawing specifications. Inspect machined components using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Thread Gauges, Dial Indicators, and other measuring instruments. Identify and troubleshoot CNC programming errors, machine alarms, tool breakage, dimensional variations, and machining problems. Perform job changeovers, tool replacements, and necessary machine adjustments. Handle new component development, machining trials, and regular production jobs independently. Coordinate with the Production, Quality, Design, and Maintenance departments to resolve machining and quality-related issues. Prepare and maintain CNC programs, setup sheets, tool lists, production records, and inspection reports. Maintain proper program backups and revision control. Support basic preventive maintenance and maintain machine cleanliness. Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety procedures, SOPs, and 5S practices. Strong practical knowledge of CNC Turning machine programming and operation. Hands-on experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens CNC controllers. Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming, including program creation, modification, and Experience in turning, facing, boring, threading, drilling, grooving, taper turning, and parting operations. Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup, chucking systems, collets, soft jaws, hard jaws, tailstock, and steady rest.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹41,000.00 per month
