Job Description

We are seeking a CNC Programmer and Operator with experience programming and operating HAAS CNC machines using G-code. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with custom and production parts.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate HAAS CNC machines using G-code.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and engineering specifications.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and workholding for each job.
• Perform offsets, tool changes, and machine adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or setup corrections.
• Maintain quality, safety, and organization in the shop.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC programming and operating experience preferred.
• Strong experience with HAAS controls and G-code programming.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
• CAM software experience is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
