CNC Programmer

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer (5-AXIS) to join an established engineering team at a world-renowned precision engineering company. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and setting up advanced CNC machines to manufacture high-precision components for the Medical and Aerospace sectors. Role: CNC Programmer and Setter - 5-axis machines

Overall Objective: As a key member of the Engineering team the CNC Programmer will program & set up CNC 5-axis machines.

Reporting to: Engineering Manager

Skills / Experience:

• 5+ years of experience with CNC machines, including 5-axis machines.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to set up 5-axis CNC machines.
• Skill in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Use of precision measuring tools and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring precision and quality.
• · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• · Highly self-motivated and the ability to work on own initiative.
