CNC PROGRAMMER

About the role

We are seeking a talented CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team at SCJ ENGINEERING (M) SDN. BHD. in Ulu Tiram Johor. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating state-of-the-art CNC machinery to produce high-quality components and parts. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our engineering business.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and program CNC machine code to produce complex parts and components
2. Set up and operate CNC machines to ensure efficient and precise manufacturing
3. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to optimise performance
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret technical drawings and specifications
5. Continuously explore and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality
6. Maintain detailed records and documentation related to CNC programming and production

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer or in a similar role
2. Proficient in CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code
3. Strong understanding of CNC machine operations, tooling, and automation
4. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve production issues
6. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
7. Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
