SHB Malaysia Automotive Appliance Sdn. Bhd. is part of a global group headquartered in China, specializing in the design and manufacture of automotive seating motors and wiper systems for leading car manufacturers worldwide. We are seeking a qualified Malaysian CNC Program Engineer to perform mould CNC programming with UG NX, validate and optimise tool paths, develop machining processes, resolve on‑site machining abnormalities, manage program documents and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to guarantee mould machining accuracy, efficiency and cost control in Johor, Malaysia.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Responsible for CNC machining programming for moulds, including toolpath planning for mould components such as cavities, cores and inserts. Create machining programmes using UG software and deliver NC programmes, machining process sheets and tool lists.
2. Carry out on-machine trial runs of programmes, verify toolpaths, optimise cutting parameters, and resolve machining issues such as tool chatter, gouging, dimensional deviation and surface defects to ensure mould machining accuracy and efficiency.
3. Evaluate mould drawings, develop CNC machining process plans, select appropriate cutting tools and fixtures, optimise machining sequences, and control machining costs and lead time.
4. Track the full mould machining process, handle on-site machining abnormalities, manage programme versions and archive process documents.
5. Communicate and coordinate with mould design and fitter teams, feed back machining challenges in a timely manner, and support mould trial runs and rectification activities.

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC programming, with experience in mould CNC programming plus on-machine operation, and familiarity with the complete mould machining workflow.

• Familiar with the operation of CNC machining centres, understand the properties and cutting parameters of various milling tools, able to read 3D/2D mould drawings and interpret geometric tolerances.
