Job Description: We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to build parts according to specifications using lathes and mills. You will make repeatable and predictable parts from raw material or parts that have been finished using a lathe or mill. You must be able to follow instructions and understand what you are doing. We will teach you all we know, but you still need to be able to learn from scratch. The goal is to produce reliable and safe parts with low-cost modifications.

Responsibilities: · Works with shop leads, tool makers, and tooling to ensure communication of information to all departments needed to produce parts · Writes and troubleshoots CNC programs for 3 and 5-axis CNC Mills, especially using MasterCam, Solid Work & AutoCad · Programming extremely close tolerance parts using Esprit software · Come up with strategies for machining operations and designate the proper tooling to ensure quality and cost-effective delivery · Study and interpret drawings and specs to coordinate set up · Generate tool paths using Unigraphics software · Provide direction for Machinists · Specify equipment, tooling and supplies needed · Provide technical support and guidance for hourly employees · Meet and improve quality standards to reduce rework and nonconformance.

Qualification:· Ability to use gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements · 2+ years of experience programming in Mastercam, Solid work, or similar software preferred · Maintains specifications by observation · Excellent manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination, familiarity with various measuring equipment, good understanding of the working qualities of various metals, commitment to excellence and high standards, versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm, acute attention to detail, ability to perform the physical labor necessary · Ability to use “AutoCad” software · Minimum of 5 years’ experience creating CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5 axis machines. Bilingual (spanish) is a plus.
