CNC Programmer/Operator Joinery

We are a well-established and reputable joinery manufacturer based in Faversham, Kent, and we are currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to join our skilled production team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a evolving & dynamic company known for producing high-quality bespoke joinery products.

The Role:

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery - preferably 5 Axis
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Producing bespoke joinery components to a high standard
• Ensuring accuracy and quality control throughout production
• Maintaining machinery and ensuring safe working practices
• Working closely with the workshop and design teams

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Operator within a joinery or woodworking environment
• Experience with a 3 or 5 axis CNC
• Experience with CAD using Autodesk software
• Experience with CAM software (e.g. Alphacam, Fusion or similar)
• Strong understanding of woodworking machinery and processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Adaptable to new technologies & methodologies
• Must be adaptive, forward thinking & progressive in self developing
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
