CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator

• Job Responsibilities
• Develop, write, and modify CNC turning programs using G-code and M-code.
• Operate and set CNC turning machines as per production requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
• Perform tool setting, offset adjustments, and program prove-out.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality using measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize rejection and cycle time.
• Implement continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, 5S, and cycle-time reduction.
• Maintain production records and follow safety and quality standards.
• Qualification
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in CNC Turning Programming and machining.
• Required Skills
• Knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming.
• Experience with Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of tool selection, machining parameters, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 8D, and CAPA will be an advantage.
